If you installed Java 64 bit in the standard place, that must be C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin. the path to the java executable: as you have two versions of Java installed on your computer, you have to tell the system which one you want to use. For example, name it SweetHome3D-4GB.bat.īut if you want it to work, you have to change two things in this command: You should store the command java -Xmx4096m -jar path\to\SweetHome3D-4.1.jar in a. I have a huge project waiting to be rendered. I'm willing to increase the memory size up to 10 GB just to be sure this isn't a problem anymore. I'm not tech savvy so if someone can dumb it down that would be great. I don't understand the red x and I don't understand what to do with that second part of the FAQ. I installed a 64 bits version of java as well. I downloaded the Jar executable version of SweetHome3D but it crashes every time I try to open it. Is like the txt file I created earlier? Put all of that in a text and save as the For 2 GB and more, install a 64 bits version of Java on your system, download the Jar executable version of Sweet Home 3D and execute the java -Xmx4096m -jar path\to\SweetHome3D-4.1.jar command for 4 GB. I think it would be better to report this issue to Asus.Įmmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D developerįinally it works!! Havnt been able to use SH3D for years now because of this bug but thought id check to see if anything changed in the latest version, but it was still bugged.
